CCNY / Camera Club of New York
One of New York’s oldest arts organizations, the Camera Club has been a home for photographers to develop their craft, providing both a working facility and collegial environment for discussion and the exchange of ideas.

Claxton Projects
The Claxton Projects website – founded and edited by New York based photographers’ agent Tom Claxton – is a curated selection of contemporary and vintage photography books from the Claxton Projects library. This archive includes books by some of photography’s most distinguished, imaginative and inventive artists and is intended to provide an introduction to new collectors, whilst highlighting the occasional overlooked title to the more seasoned photography book enthusiast. Above all else, Claxton Projects is a celebration of great photography books and the wonderful images within.

iPL / Indie Photobook Library
Founded by the Larissa Leclair (
www.larissaleclair.com), the iPL is an archive of self-published and indie published photobooks that preserves, promotes, and showcases them through pop-up and feature-length exhibitions (Toronto, DC, Philadelphia, Boston, Santa Fe, NY, Orlando, Atlanta and Lishui, China), written articles (GUP Magazine, VOP Magazine), conferences (New York Art Book Fair) and as a non-circulating public library. Having a specific collection dedicated to these kinds of books allows for the development of future discourse on trends in self-publishing, the ability to reflect on and compare books in the collection, and for scholarly research to be conducted years, decades, and centuries to come.
