"We congratulate all our students, past and present, for their effort, and we thank them for making us, their tutors and teachers, proud."
Moritz Neumüller, Director of the European Master of Contemporary Photography
The catalogue of the European Master in Contemporary Photography is a celebration of seven years of sweat, tears, laughter and friendship. A project produced by and for photography lovers, which showcases the talent of the seven editions of the programme, as a meeting point between artists and professionals.
The publication is divided into two parts. A first section in which are displayed thirteen selected works by students from the seven editions of the programme. And a second section in collaboration with teachers and important professionals from the world of photography: an interview with Martin Parr and Gerry Badger on their review of the history of photobooks, a conversation with Jim Casper and a text by the Spanish researcher Erika Goyarrola on the history of photobooths.
A look back at seven years of training that reveals the professional and human quality of the photographers who have spent time in our classrooms. The results of seven editions of an internationally relevant programme in which the personal views of photography of the students are developed, in a creative and collaborative environment, along with internationally renowned teachers.
